The Twelfth Month

As the Berliners often say, every week he changes so much. He’s standing and walking (with support), he’s learned to stick his tongue out and thinks that it’s hilarious, he still loves to lounge, and his favorite thing right now is a push car that Mom got him to go on short walks.

We’ve starting going to a restaurant nearby and sitting on the patio. Wes gets to ride in his push car and loves to people watch as much as Mom and Dad. He got to visit his Uncle Kyle in Big Bear and pet lots of bunnies. He even saw snow for the first time, but I don’t think he realized the significance.

Wesley is a big animal lover like his Mom and Dad, so meals in Big Bear consisted of Wesley eating some and feeding a lot to Bernie (Kyle’s dog). More park days, more visits with family and friends, and as the world gets back to normal he’s getting to meet more and more people. Luckily he’s VERY social and even if he isn’t immediately friendly it usually doesn’t take long for him to warm up.

We say it all the time to each other, but he really is a ball of sunshine.
