The Eleventh Month

Everything keeps getting more fun! I’ve found myself being the person that says all of the horrible clichés that you here from every parent. “The days are long but the years are short,” and “they grow up so fast!” Wesley doesn’t feel like a baby any more!

He’s super active all the time. We’re super grateful that we have daycare and can take him someplace that he can play all day with other kids his age.

On the weekends we go from room to room trying to keep him entertained. We take walks, trips to the park, visits to family and friends, just to keep him entertained. Our house is filled with toys. He crawls FAST. Luckily, right before he’s about to make a break for it, he starts panting and laughing and then off he goes!

He so badly wants to be friends with Dinah, but she’s having none of it. When he gets close she takes off. He still hates diaper changes, and he still likes most of the food (although we’re having to start getting creative because he is not tolerating bland things).

This month was our first museum visit at LACMA where we got his 10 month photos, he celebrated Easter with his cousins, and we got out of town to Idyllwild for dad’s 40th birthday.
